During your final year, the Major Project gives you hands-on experience in applying financial skills to practical problems, preparing you for roles in audit, financial planning, corporate finance, and investment analysis. The use of Bloomberg Financial Markets Labs from Year 1 enhances familiarity with industry tools and improves employment readiness.
Students also benefit from targeted employability support, including CV-building workshops, mock interviews, networking events, and guest lectures from finance professionals. Many gain part-time roles or placements during the course, boosting real-world exposure. The programme carries professional accreditation and offers exemptions from up to nine professional exams across ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, and CIPFA.
